As you may have noticed, the vest is inspired by the tactical vests worn by military personnel. The weight of the vest can be adjusted by swapping the metal plates on the front and back.
Having the weight positioned close to your chest and minimal slack in the vest itself ensures that it stays in place without much movement.
This may seem obvious, but it’s not. Cheaper weight vests often result in a lot of slack when doing push-ups, jump rope, or running.

The Matchu Sports tactical weight vest comes with 3 sets of 2 metal plates weighing 4.17LB, 6.17LB, and 9.17LB. The weights may seem a bit odd at first, but when combined with the weight of the vest itself, it all makes sense. By adding the different plates to the vest, the total weight becomes 10LB (4.5kg), 14LB (6.4kg), and 20LB (9.1kg) respectively. The metal plates feature a laser-cut Matchu Sports logo and all come in black.
Another cool feature of this tactical weight vest is the patches included. The vest comes with high-quality patches, including one of the Dutch flag and the Elite Fitness Club badge. Let’s be honest: if you’re working out with this vest, you’ve definitely earned a spot among the elite! The patches are easy to interchange, and if you want to add your own velcro patches, that’s no problem. 's avonds besteld. De volgende dag geleverd. Ik gebruik ze om te wandelen. Ik wandel ongeveer 2 uur. Eerste wandeling met de 4.17 platen.2de wandeling 6,17. Daarna de 9.17 gekozen. Met die 9.17 heb ik op dit moment het ideale gewicht. Ik doe er nog een jas over. Vest zit zeer goed. Geen last aan de schouders. Voelt zeer aangenaam. Je vergeet dat je ze draagt. Ik hou echt van deze vest. Gewichten plaatsen gaat vlot. Mooie kwaliteit, zowel vest als gewichten. Ik berg ze steeds terug op in de doos. Wandelen met vest is leuker dan wandelen zonder.Stefan –

Net als de andere reviewer aangeeft, ontbreekt er helaas een instructie. Het is wel even puzzelen, maar via youtube -zeus tactical vest 2.0- kom je er wel uit. Nu twee keer gebruikt en zelfs bij de burpees geen verschuiving. Door het vele en sterke klitteband blijven de platen goed zitten ondanks dat je de platen er van onder in schuift (was mijn vrees voor aanschaf). Voor een ieder die zich extra wil uitdagen kan ik dit vest zeker aanbevelen. Het is een prijzig vest, maar na 2 keer gebruikt te hebben is het zijn prijs voor mij meer dan waard.Anoniem –

Prima functioneel gewichtvest, alleen een instructie onbreekt. Hierdoor niet meteen duidelijk hoe de gewichten in het vest moeten. Maar met youtube kom je er wel. Ook is niet duidelijk wat de functie is van de verstelriem aan de achterkant.
