Looking to buy a weight vest? Here's what you need to keep in mind!

We have a wide range of weight vests, which means we basically have the right choice for everyone. Wearing a weight vest can be a great addition to the weight of your body, but you need to buy the right weight vest. But which variant of the weighted vest should you choose? There are several factors to consider. It's good to think about what you want to use it for, whether you want it to be adjustable, what your budget is, and how seriously you want to use it. We have the following variants of weight vests in our assortment:

5kg Weight Vest

This weight vest is made of neoprene and worn like a backpack. Due to its design, the vest stays in place during your training. Neoprene is a material commonly used in making braces. The fabric is light, yet relatively sturdy and especially inexpensive compared to other materials used. Since this vest is not adjustable, you are limited to the fixed weight of 5kg and will need to invest in a new vest if you outgrow it. This vest is especially suitable for beginner athletes looking to give themselves a push, women, and possibly children. Because the weight is close to your body, the vest is very suitable for running and skipping rope. The 5kg variant is the cheapest vest we offer and is a great model to start your workout with. There is a mesh pocket at the back for your valuables.

10kg Weight Vest

The 10kg vest is essentially the same as the 5kg variant. It is a vest in the same design, using the same materials. The only difference is the weight. This vest is also suitable for exercises that involve a lot of movement, such as running and jumping rope. Due to the use of neoprene in the vest, this and the 5kg variant will be the two least robust choices. If you plan to use the vest frequently and intensively, or even in your gym, it is better to choose one of the other variants.

20kg Weight Vest

This is the first vest with removable weights that is adjustable in weight using sandbags. You can easily add extra weight, and the vest can be weighted up to a maximum weight of 20kg. This allows you to easily determine the weight you want to train with. This variant is our absolute bestseller and is the only weight vest that can be precisely adjusted by the kilo. This can also be a vest of 7.5 kg, 15 kg, or 17.5 kg. The great advantage of this vest is the price in relation to the total weight. You will likely have a hard time finding a 20kg vest of the same quality that is cheaper than ours. The vest is made of strong polyester and distributes the weight to the front and back. Due to the choice of materials, there will be some give in the vest during exercises involving a lot of movement. This will worsen as you make the vest heavier. As a result, the vest will touch the ground during push-ups and move during running. This can be somewhat corrected with the adjustable straps. The vest is extremely suitable for pull-ups, squats, and dips. This vest is primarily intended for home use.

Tactical Weight Vest

This is the ultimate weight vest and, in our opinion, the best weight vest. Through the use of the included metal plates, the vest can be easily adjusted in weight. The weighted vest is extremely stable due to the use of robust materials and the weight being so close to your body. There is little room for movement when performing your exercises. Therefore, this vest is suitable for all exercises you can think of. This variant is the most expensive we offer, but you are guaranteed a vest that will never let you down. This vest is suitable for intensive use, including in the gym or a box where it is used by different members.

What is the best weight vest for running?

Most of the weight vests in our range are suitable for running. The main requirement is that the vest does not move too much while you are running. This can be very annoying and also cause you to run in an unnatural way, which you definitely do not want. Running is already tough enough. Within our weight vests, you can either go for the 5kg weighted vest, or the tactical weight vest. These vests have the weight close to your body and are therefore ideal for running. The adjustable 20kg vest is the least suitable for running or jumping rope. The main advantage of the latter variant is that you can easily determine the weight and adjust it accurately.
