Buying a Padel Racket? Here's What to Look For

If you're in search of your newest weapon to take on the battle on the padel court, you might be experiencing some decision stress. We'd like to help you in your search to make the right choice. Before we tell you which variant suits you best, it's good to first talk about our own products and what makes them special.

Designed by Professionals

Before designing and producing all types of rackets, they underwent extensive testing by professionals. We went through several rounds of prototypes, using all feedback to create the padel racket of your dreams. For example, considerations were made about the carbon on the exterior, as well as how they are filled. This results in each variant having a completely different feel and effect on your playing style.

Super Strong Japanese Carbon

In order for you to become a fan of playing with our products, we meticulously looked at the materials used in production. We chose the same high quality standard for all three variants. All three rackets are made with carbon imported from Japan. Japanese products are known for the high quality they deliver, which is essential. Each variant has a distinction in hardness, which you can read more about later. All three variants feature a carbon frame, ensuring their durability.

EVA Foam Filling

The filling is tailored to playing style to ensure you can put just the right amount of feeling into the ball. The more advanced you are, the harder we've made the racket so you can put more power into your shots.

3D Grip Technology

Since padel involves a lot of slicing, having grip on the ball is essential. This was a tip from the pros in our test panel, so we immediately incorporated it. All rackets are equipped with a 3D relief, giving you that extra grip on the ball during play.

Choosing a Padel Racket

Now that you know how our line was created and the materials we've used, it's time to make a choice among the three options we offer. Whatever your playing style is, we have the right choice for all types of padel players! You can choose from the round shape, teardrop shape, or diamond shape. These are respectively suitable for a defensive (novice) player, all-round (advanced) player, and an attacking player who is highly advanced. Whatever type of player you are, we have the perfect match.

ROUND SHAPE – BEAR

Our first racket has a round shape and is suitable for novice and defensive players. The blade shape helps distribute the weight in a certain way, allowing you to put more or less power into the ball. This racket has a low center of gravity, making it the least powerful variant of the three. So why choose this round racket? Its shape provides a fairly large "sweet spot". This means you can hit the ball nicely not only in the center of the racket but also gives you a bit of a margin of error. The bear also features a softer variant of EVA foam, allowing for a more sensitive play. Choose the round racket if you want more room for mistakes or if you have a defensive playing style. The bear is made with a carbon fiber frame. Unlike many cheaper round rackets that are fully made of fiberglass, this one only has a top layer of this material. This makes it extremely strong for a racket in this price range.

TEARDROP SHAPE – GORILLA

If you've been playing for a while or have experience on the tennis court, you usually debate between the round shape and a teardrop shape. It's difficult to give a clear recommendation, but we believe you can switch to the teardrop shape if you have this experience already. The Gorilla features 100% 3K carbon, an extra strong carbon variant that allows you to hit the ball harder than with the round shape. This racket also has a higher center of gravity, enabling you to put more power behind the ball. The sweet spot is slightly smaller than the Bear, but you still have room for errors. With its combination of power and control, it's a great choice for the all-round player. The teardrop shape is currently the most popular shape on the market for a reason.

DIAMOND SHAPE – PANTHER

The last option we offer is truly for the professional players. If you choose the Panther, you'll know exactly how to hit every ball perfectly. This will reward you with an incredibly powerful playing style. The Panther is equipped with 100% 18K carbon, the hardest carbon that can be produced. Additionally, this racket features a harder variant of EVA foam, allowing you to give the balls more power. The diamond shape distributes most of the weight at the top of the blade. This results in being able to hit harder with the Panther than with the other variants, producing harder shots. However, this racket has a much smaller sweet spot compared to our other variants. That's why it's perfect for advanced players with a fast, attacking playing style who know exactly how to hit the ball.

Most Common Questions About Padel Rackets

  • What to Consider When Buying a Padel Racket?
  • The weight is important to consider when purchasing a padel racket. Lighter rackets are especially for beginners, women, and children. You need less power behind the ball and can move faster. A heavier racket is more suitable for men.
  • Why Are There Holes in a Padel Racket?
  • There are holes in a padel racket for weight reduction and less air resistance. This is necessary because the exterior is often made of carbon and the interior of EVA foam. It becomes lighter when it has holes.
  • Can Padel Rackets Withstand Water?
  • A racket is made of foam, which absorbs moisture. It's therefore not advisable to make your racket very wet or play in the rain.
  • How Long Does a Padel Racket Last?
  • This depends on how often you use it for sports and how you handle it. Generally, a racket of normal quality lasts about 12 to 18 months.
