You can buy a gym ball in various colors and sizes. It is an excellent tool for a variety of exercises. Just make sure you buy the right ball. The color you choose is entirely dependent on your personal preference. However, the size you choose is an important factor. Finding the right size fitness ball can be calculated in two ways: arm length and body length. If you are going to use the ball as a replacement for a desk chair, we recommend ordering a size smaller. This also depends on the height of your desk.

Arm Length

Ensure your arms are straight by stretching them forward. Your fingers should also be fully extended. Measure the distance from the shoulder to the end of the middle finger. Since the middle finger is the longest finger, it is used for measuring. If the length is 55-65 cm, a 55 cm fitness ball will fit you best.

Body Length

The most common method is measuring your body length. Stand barefoot against a wall as straight as possible. Then measure your height by marking a spot on the wall or placing a book horizontally on your head. The distance from the ground to the mark on the wall is your body length.
