Description
A power band is often used by the enthusiastic athlete and is therefore the tool to take your training to the next level. Especially in cross-training, you see these bands a lot. They are also known as pull-up bands! They are commonly used for pull-ups on a bar, but also for targeting different muscle groups.
The ultra-light elastic band has dimensions of 1040 x 4.5 x 6.4 mm and is therefore not suitable for pull-ups. This variant is mainly used for mobility exercises and warm-up exercises. It is also commonly used in rehabilitation. For example, wrap the band around a pole and use it for pull-downs, pull-aparts, etc. The band offers a resistance between 2 and 7 kg.

Power band exercises
Need some inspiration? Take a look at our fitness band exercises. Here you will find some fun variations on exercises you already know, but with extra resistance. Give your squats, push-ups, and kickbacks an extra dimension with the bands. The bands are also a great addition to bench pressing. As you stretch a band further, it provides more resistance. The exercise becomes harder as you stretch it further.
The power band can be used to work on your pull-ups or muscle-ups. You practice the movement while you may not have the strength to perform sets as you want. You will be surprised at how much technique is involved in doing a pull-up. Once you have mastered the technique, you can gradually increase your sets and switch to a lighter band or even no band at all. Before you know it, you will have them down!
