The founder of MATCHU Sports is a true art lover, and this is reflected throughout the company. From graffiti and paintings to sculptures, art is a source of inspiration. This led to a special project combining art and sports – a surprising combination that produces amazing results! Our first ART-COLLECTION consists of unique SUP boards designed by top artists such as BustArt, Yeye Weller and Wotto. Because why should sports equipment be boring when it can also be a work of art?
And this is just the beginning! The enthusiastic response has inspired us to also develop an artistic padel collection. MATCHU wants to give artists a stage and introduce people to art in a playful way. Even those who ‘have nothing to do with art’ will love these designs! The combination of art and sports continues to drive our vision.
ABOUT BUST ART
In 1999, BustArt began his artistic career with classical graffiti. Until 2005, he became familiar with the whole spectrum of graffiti and reached a new level of identification with the different facets of the subculture. Besides classical graffiti pieces, he started combining letters with cartoon-like figures, which led his art to more figurative works.Communicating with people through street art became his mission. A mission to surprise pedestrians, encourage them to think and share a love of coloured urban space. Travelling and seeing the world was an additional motivation. All over the world, he created large murals: New York, Berlin, Mumbai, London, Paris, Dubai, Cairo, Marseille, Amsterdam and many more. And so now a beautiful SUP board for MATCHU….

ABOUT YEYE WELLER
YeYe Weller is about a balance between colour, humour and a clear visual language where all three elements are aligned to convey a clear message. They move between the intersection of applied work and autonomous development. They see it as their mission to bring positive vibes to everyone who lets them. The different mediums YeYe Weller uses make their figurative world with weird characters, bright colours and playful layouts come to life in different ways.
Brands like Kentucky Fried Chicken, Adidas, Samsung, Netflix and Coca-Cola went before us, so MATCHU can’t be left behind. A wonderful collaboration from which more surprises can be expected.

ABOUT WOTTO
Wotto is an artist from California. After graduating with a BA(Hons) in Illustration, he moved to London to surround himself with other creative minds. Influenced by street art and designer trends, he developed his own distinctive doodle style. Originally intended for sketchbooks, this style found its way into a range of products around the world.
Wotto’s work consists of rich colour palettes and original characters formed with intentional lines. His intense scribbles regularly contain messages and hidden objects. Hand-drawn figures, letters and mountains of detail engage viewers of his work. Wotto strives to develop the creepy with the cute and worlds of chaos with emotion and storytelling. This style has made him world-famous and we are immensely proud that he has created a special design for MATCHU.
